In 1962, the world lost Marilyn Monroe, who was a legend even during her lifetime. Six weeks before her death the famed Vogue photographer, Bert Stern, was assigned to photograph Marilyn Monroe. He had made a name for himself as the photographer of beautiful women and he was given the privilege to shoot the most beautiful of them all. The photographs taken in June of 1962 were to be the last studio photographs of Marilyn Monroe.
